General Information |
A major name in Italian racing bicycles, the Legnano name has been around since the early 1930's if not earlier. Their frames are often painted a distinctive bright metalic green, and the head badge depicts an warrior holding his sword held high in celebration. Specifically it depicts Alberto da Giussano celebrating the triumph at the battle of Legnano in 1176 over the German rulers who had been ruling over the lands for centuries. The brand itself produced a very wide range of models from the high end equipped with Campagnolo down to Hi-Ten built frames with lesser components.
