This is a frame from a fairly obscure, but well thought of, frame producer that never really got off the ground- although, the founder eventually achieved success after starting over again under the new name, Enigma. Although not badged as such, I believe the Teknobike model to be built with Reynolds 653 tubing. Frame geometry and tight triangles make for a very responsive ride. From the model name to the glaringly bright paint job, this frame is very 90s. More attractive are the ornate spearpoint lugs it was built with- although sadly these are largely unused on my frame example due to its small size making it impossible to use lugs on most of its joints! |
