Photos show the bike as original. It was made to measure for me by Eric Prooft, the owner of The Cycles Lea in Bruges, Belgium in 1982. It had Modolo Speedy brakes, 3ttt bars and stem, Campa Super Record cranks and Super Record pedals and toeclips , Campa Victory derailleurs, Campa Super Record high flange hubs, front 28, rear 36, with Mavic GP4 rims, 3ttt leather covered saddle with aluminum frame and Campa seat post. When the Selle Italia Flite saddle appeared on the market, it was mounted and still is in use today. This bike is my road mount, my "good bike" and so it is subject to changes as I see fit, The last photo shows the bike as it is today. Campa Chorus cranks, Miche click pedals, Campa V- Omega with Miche 24 hole Primato radially spoked (DT Swiss Aerospeed) in front, Campa V-Seoul 88 36 hole with Super Record 8 speed hub (Sapim Laser aero) in back, both with Tufo tubulars, Campa Chorus derailleur and shift/brake levers, 3ttt Ergo bars. Same seat post and venerable Flite saddle. |
