This frame was either not marked as a specific model, or has at some time lost the decal specifying which of the Champion Mondial variations it was. Based on details such as the internal cable routing, brazed on derailleur hanger, under BB cable guides and the short Campagnolo dropouts - it is my best guess that it is a AA-Special. It is possible that this was a custom built frame from Gazelle given the amount of chrome on it, however the 'starting point' was still most likely the AA-Special. |
