| History |
| Founded (at least in part) by Giuseppie Olmo, an Italian road racer who held the world hour record from October of 1935 till October of the following year. He also won gold in the 1932 Olympics as part of the Italian team and finished on the podium in the Giro twice in 1935 and 1936. |
