General Information
Here a what is quite likely a 60s Zieleman frame that got its refinishing in the 80s. The refinishing consisted of new paint, possibly various braze ons and recessed type fittings for the brakes.

When I got hands on it I decided to stick to the concept of late 60s frame with 80s refinishing and opt for an typical 80s rebuild to match the era of the refinishing. The idea is that it is great frame that even into the eighties was still more than capable enough for a many more fast and enjoyable kilometers. A frame/friend for life. The rebuild: A couple months earlier I were able to acquire on a RIH Bustraan with Super Record, Roval wheels and Weinmann Delta Pro brakes. Pretty obscure 80s kit. A lot black and no lack of aero influences. The RIH was sadly way to tall for me though. The RIH got the honour of donating its exquisite parts to the Zieleman frame.

Some spec highlights:
- Cinelli 1R black ano "Zieleman" panto'ed stem
- Super Record chainset and gears
- Roval wheels
- Weinmann Delta Pro brakes
- Turbo Hinault seat

The frame is build with Reynolds 531 tubing. I think the lugs used are supplied by Cinelli. They look modified to me with their many cut outs. The seatstays are of the 'wrap around' type and show the "KZ" engravings. Dropouts by Campagnolo. Rear really long.
