Model General Information

Valex,  road race model, lugged, steel. Built in Columbus SL, and Oria Special TT.09 tubes. Dropouts were Gipiemme or Campagnolo. If sold as complete bycicle, usually it  was equipped with Gipiemme Special groupset or Campagnolo highend groupsets.

Legendary custom built and also individually built steel frames by the best ex -Yugoslavian and Serbian framebuilder Aleksandar Vantovic Valex from Belgrade. Road race, pista and time trial models were produced. As full bicycle,  available too  (usually equiped with gipiemme or campagnolo high end groupsets). ORIA  special TT.09 and Columbus SL tubes were used most often. Alex Vantovic Valex cooperated with some of the most  eminent Italian framebuilders/brands from the classic era. Alex Vantovic Valex founded cycling club Valex, Belgrade, which is still active. Valex club achievements are: Equipe Champion of Yugoslavia 2000,  Equipe Vice champion of Serbian Cup 2000, Equipe Vice champion of Serbian Cup 2001, League Champion of Serbia and Montenegro 2005, Road Champion of Serbia 2006, Champion of Serbia CLM 2007 and Champion of Balkan CLM 2007
