| 1874 - start of production of bicycles in Cheb by Premier (a subsidiary of Premier Cycle Co, Coventry) 1911 - ES-KA founded by Ambros Swetlik and Heinrich Kastrup (former employees of Premier) 1922 - new branch of ES-KA founded in Rokycany, manufacturing bicycles branded Tripol 1945 - nationalisation of Eska 1998 - after a period of decline starting in the early 1990s, Eska goes bankrupt
