Belgian bicycle maker founded by Frans Huygens. Having started with frames making, from 1952 on, Huygens made bicycles under the name of his son Ludo. In 1952 and 1964, Stan Ockers and Eddy merckx became amateur World Champion in Italy on bikes made after a Ludo frame. In 1974, the MIC-de Gribaldy-Ludo team wins the World Cup. The company was headed to Ludo and then to the grandson Johan (1993). The brand was renamed Granville in 2000. |
