General Information
Mark Fletcher: "Rene Herse introduced his cantilever brakes in 1938. They were among the earliest brazed-on cantis and predate Mafac/Securitie. For some reason they were marketed as Speedy brakes by Reynolds French importer Dupieux rather than Herse himself, unlike his other components such as his cranks and pedals that were sold under his own name."
