The Peugeot PSV-10 was only produced for a few years in the early to mid 80s. The 1983 US model was pearl white. The French catalog shows a mint green pearlescent color while the 1984 version was a metallic gold/tan color. The PSV-10 was a upper mid price range racing model with all French equipment except for Weinmann 605 brakes. The frames were made of very light weight Super Vitus 980 tubing.

Peugeot started as a manufacturing business as early as the 1700's, making items such as coffee, pepper and salt grinders before moving on bicycles and later cars. Their bicycle manufacturing was kicked off around 1882 with the introduction of the "Brand Bi", a penny-farthing bicycle. Peugeot's company website has a good write up of their bicycle history on their
website.
