Naturally, this tool has correctly spaced pins to fit the Villiers freewheels, but I've also found it to be an exact fit (similar design?) for the common Sturmey Archer freewheels, and I expect other same era British freewheels would be a fit. There doesn't seem to be many two-pin tools around that do the job. |
In 1898, John Marston was building a pedal cycle, which he named the Sunbeam Cob.
As he was sited on Villiers St. (in Wolverhampton), he named it The Villiers Company,
later to become The Villiers Engineering Company.
